Digital Processing of Seismic Data from Open-Pit Mining Blasts

This article describes an approach of mathematical processing signals (seismograms) from five blasthole charges experimental blasting, each 3 m deep, with equal explosive weight (1 kg), and equidistant (3 m) one other. The seismic waves were measured at a 13 to 25 distance. provides spectral analysis, wavelet fractal analysis results. It defines the dependence dominant frequency amplitude on distance blast center. According data, is calculated as y = 1.0262x0.2622 dependency 18.139x−2.276. Furthermore, shows that 80% entire signal concentrated in half area range, i.e., low zone most interest. research energy value analysis. demonstrated that, according 12th range closely correlated values. gives definitions entropy, correlation dimension, predictability time. experiment entropy dimension decrease but time increases when center increases. also method for determining optimal drilling blasting parameters, concludes possibility applying analytical results predicting enhancing operations.
